I got my first DOT card today. Its for 3 months for blood pressure. It was 150/90. This means i got my job Monday. Im driving engines transmissions and rearends , accessories and picking up cores. For a crate engine company . 4-5 days a week 10 hours minimum. First thing is ideas on how to get my BP down. for my next card. And any road advise.

See your doctor and find out why it's that high . Change your diet and exercise.

    That's all I got

See a doctor. Even a urgent care doc can give you a prescription. Plenty of meds out there. Best thing you can do is to get it lower and under control and keep it there.

Eat 51% vegetable and you will be fine. The meds fix the symptom but not the cause, try to take BP while you are relax at home to see if it's really high or you were just nervous at the time BP was taken at the doc office.

If you have time, do some brisk walking for about 45 minutes each day. This also lowers sugar levels.

    Cut back on sodium sources.
These are things like fast food, prepackaged convenience foods the heat and eat stuff. Here is one that surprises a lot of people, soda, lot of sodium in it. Sports drinks like Gatorade, poweraid

Energy drinks like monster or 5hour are also big problems.
The amount of sodium, caffeine and sugars is very high.

Best way to lower blood pressure is to lose weight. Check out the Keto diet. I have lost 35 pounds in about 2 months on it. Super easy and my blood pressure is now right around 120/80 after being like yours before losing weight. Edited to add: This is without any medication.

Your #### right it is a celebration thread. I was making less than minimum wage at a chain tire shop. With pissed off people all day long. About too lose my house. Now I'm triple that and half the work . Dreaming of crock pot veggies and rice, in my truck and paying my bills and being warm at night.
