No they operate mainly in OK and had a long haul down here in TX but for some reason never tried to pick up any other work in TX. Now that the flood of cheap trucks have come in and taken that away, I have not seen them pick up anything new here.

Is this that same company that's charging you an arm & a leg in trailer lease fees and not paying FSC?

If you choose to stay leased onto them then I hope things turn around for you soon.

Making 50- 80.00 per day hauling crude in Pecos tx area, short haul 2- 20 mile loads. There is no work, everyone is leaving the area.

Not sure what other parts of the country are seeing but crude hauling in South TX and the long hauls from West TX to the South TX area sure have died back.

The Petro in Pearsall was kind of a ghost town when I moved to this area less than 2 years ago. You could find parking any day or night. Then the pipeline constraints of West TX emerged and around June/July of 2018 you could see the activity picking up in this area, although it was mostly delivering oil from West TX to South TX. Back in November the Petro looked like a crude operations hub! You could find at least 12 different companies all parked there. Now you see a couple but not like it was last year. They even recently shut the 24HR operations of the TA/Petro down so if you need anything done to your truck from late evening to early morning it isn't happening.

Also I have heard of waiting lists to get on with companies. That is company driver and O/O! When did you last hear that?

yeah I split and left Tx. I tried pneumatic tanker also, all they pay is % of the load no demurge-detention pay. Oil field is a joke, I made more in 1990 horizontal drilling, a lot more per hour than any job in the oil field now.A lot of big talk in the Tx oil field. The rates are bad, the frac trucking co.s only get 50.00 per hour. Ouch
