Not hauling crude I'm affraid. You could start with almost any water company to get your tank experience.

Fuel Transport Driver - Class A with X Endorsement - Texas - Indeed.com
Not sure if allowed to post links and I have no first hand knowledge but Texas Pride Fuels told me they would take me and train me as long as I have a CDL with the endorsements. I am fresh out of trucking school.ruckusftlc Thanks this. -

Not sure why you are being told you can't haul crude with zero tanker experience. The oilfield is booming and companies need drivers. When the boom arrives it is a great time to get some experience. When the bust returns, crude companies will definitely raise their standards and you will probably not find it easy to get on with zero tanker.
One company to look at would be Coastal Plains. They have very nice equipment and run in the South Texas and West Texas markets. I know they are pretty busy in my area and they have a strong relationship with EOG who, in my opinion, have some of the best leases you can pull from (EOG stays on top of their oil and in a lot of cases use LACT systems which make the crude haulers job easier).
Coastal Plains Trucking, LLC
Xcalibur may be another place to start if you don't have tanker experience. I know they are pretty busy in my area and they also run out in West TX.

Pay will not be the highest for these two but it's a start. Get 6 months experience and better opportunities will open up. One year even better! Then maybe look to sign on to one of the companies who purchase their own oil for better stability during downturns in the crude price.Skypilotj Thanks this. -
Coastal Plains never called me back and state MUST have 6 mos tanker experience! I just got off the phone with Twin Eagle and the 1st thing they asked was if I had liquid tanker experience! This was a definite in those to cases.

I had zero tanker experience when Sunoco hired and trained me to haul crude. That was 5 years ago though.
