My NJ cdl has H N T. Hazmat tankers and doubles/triples. I asked the dmv about the X and they said the H and the N cover the same as the X would.

I got tanker, hazmat and double triple . My license says XT. But I'm thinking license is supposed to be TX. What you guys think about it? Do you think XT and TX are same?

...so if you had Passenger, Motorcycle, and School Bus, you'd have...

Motorcycle is a class of vehicle and should be (it is here in IL) next to the "A".

You driver. Your truck. And trailer. Hazmat load. If you have HM you can haul it. But wait.

If you intent to haul THAT HM in a tanker, you cannot without that X that says you are endorsed for tanker.

HM could care less and also in our rules and laws what it is in, box, tank, flat, herded on the roadway etc. It's still hazmat.

Final word X says you can haul HM in a tanker along with everything else.

I carried both for a long time. When I threw the HM away one day the license still carried the tanker itself, never with hazmat.
