They pay depending on experience and work history, so it varies. They also have a very achievable quarterly bonus of .04 for all miles run in that quarter.

I’m not worried about a referral, just putting my experience out there for others to see.

So ya, I hopped back into a Big Green Truck the beginning of December... swapped trucks out due to mechanical issues the beginning of January... it’s now the beginning of February and they are wanting to pull my truck off the road (+700k on it).... which means a third truck in only two months... {sigh}
Gotta say, those Big Red Trucks are looking prettier and prettier every month... lolgntorres61, runningman0661 and motocross25 Thank this. -
MidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this.

Got a new two year card, I was sweating the eye exam, but they say I still have 20/20 vision. Picked up my 4th quarter bonus check, put my truck in the shop to get an exhaust leak and hose replaced leading from my charge air cooler. When the truck gets out of the shop I will go to Omaha and pick up a preloaded trailer going to Columbia, SC for Monday morning.
gntorres61, Vic Firth, MidWest_MacDaddy and 3 others Thank this. -

My miles have dropped during the winter working the southeast region. Most weeks under 2000 and a few over. They haven't been able to run me over The weekends due to slow freight. The brass are wanting to meet with me to see if I am willing to float until it picks up. Which I will. I turn down nothing. Maybe except NYC. I don't mind going to Hunts Point Market in the Bronx but pulling a 53 in the five boroughs just doesn't thrill me.
Still, my dispatcher is concerned with my miles and is giving me a trip to Iowa/Nebraska next week to help out with my miles. I feel like things will get better and that my company CARES about me. Of course, I do my part, deliver on time, smile to the customers and don't tear anything up, do the 300 mile short hops without question. I don't ask for time off normally. This past week, came out on Monday ran 1700 miles needing to get home for Friday as I got tickets to the Carolina Theatre for the Fab Four (Beatles Tribute Band) Saturday night back around Thanksgiving.
As an aside, my wife went out me for the first time ever in 5 plus years. She had a great time and didn't scare her once.cdavis188, Vic Firth, MidWest_MacDaddy and 1 other person Thank this.
