    Hey everyone
At what temperature you think switching from cycle to continuous settings would make more sense if i had to disconnect glow plugs. Running to Alberta so it will be really cold
Battery is less then a year old CAT. Carrier xtc stealth on 0w30 full synthetic oil.all filters under 1k hours

Lol man again you going into the wrong direction. But let it be.. cucumbers at 50f. So far in Thunder Bay at minus 21 all is good starts right up after like 20 mins off.
And i set it at 52 for this cold maybe even higher once i make my first drop in Regina. Btw any idea how lablaw works compare to ajax or maple? You know how it can be over there. I stop taking them couple years back already .. Quebec ain't that bad thought.
Probably without glow plugs its safer to haul produce other then frozen right

Glow plugs or not, make sure you have a fresh high performance battery supporting your reefer no matter what mode you decide to run in. Most newer units have solar charging panels for added insurance for strong cranking power and to trickle charge continuously, regardless of run state.

Oh yeah it's got a cat less then a year deep cycle. On top of that 3 sets of cables, so electrical part is pretty much covered. And its a 2007 model with less then 14k hours on it filled with synthetic oil from New. No egr nor def bs with all bolts on replaced less then two years ago, starter, alternator belts all that

If the temp were below 0 I would probably set it to continuous. Even with fuel treatment do you really want to risk the load if it doesn’t restart?

    Farmerbob1 and Onemanshow Thank this.

All right gentleman it went pass 25 degree Celsius and my iron balls started to shrink lol. So it was perfectly safe up to that point . Of course you have to know your equipment.
