Propane is very, very common, a lot of c-stores sell propane canisters at a high price with no butane anywhere

Every walmart sells the butane cannisters. Also see them in a lot of chain truckstops, tho jacked up 300% of course.

yes they do, when that butane is gone and the only source around for a few is a c-store , they'll most likely carry propane. before butane, not all do though. if butane works for yah work it

Thinking about grabbing a coleman, or the higher output and better made Camp Chef Everest. I'm mostly interested in a griddle for it to make grilled steak and veggies, and eggs. Somebody talk me out of this please.

    Don’t do it.
The truck will be covered in grease and will smell rancid.
    Live like you’re on vacation!
    Eat out.

Cooking out on a card table. I've seen it a few times. Pop it out in front of the truck and go to town. I've also see grills on catwalks.

And people are trying to back in and you have your table set up in their way.
Or you’re cooking on a filthy catwalk trying to convince yourself the pavement is sticky because someone spilled a soda pop...
    Eat out.
    Go to Applebee’s.
Or get a local job and cook in your kitchen at home.

I eat out enough. I make soups, pot roast, chilli to reheat for the week. Eating out really eats into your paychecks, and fattens you up. I'm just working on cooking hobby mostly. I'm already cooking in the truck some, but I'm trying to branch out to something less cramped than a 10 inch pan on an induction cooktop inside the truck.

I can cook much healthier meals and the food will taste much better if i do it myself in the truck instead of eating out.

I've been coming in the truck for years. No grease on anything. Use a fan in a sleeper window above your cooking surface and its np different than cooking on your stove top at home.

Pro tip. Turn the fan off when baking brownies or cookies. That's a smell you want!

Don’t need an open flame to burn the truck down.

I had the cooktop off for a bit before the huge gust of wind shook the truck.

Roll of paper towels fell out of the overhead storage onto it.

It went up fast. Glad I had a glass of water to hit it with
