If you're on a scale how could you be driving. They must be awful hungry up there.Either that or a Trucker got the best of him and he's trying to even the score. That's borderline bullying, picking on a guy with glasses, what'd he do next kick sand on you.

    fss99701 and Lepton1 Thank this.

Just a quick update I heard from Klamath falls Court today just by writing them a letter explaining the situation they dropped my fine down from $933 to $100
    Pretty happy with that.
Thanks again for the few people with decent suggestions

    Good for you.

Another good thing is overweight fines are simply a citation. Even if an inspection report was filled out, it will not affect on your company csa score.

88 Alpha and fss99701 Thank this.

Yeah I thought the same thing. I'm going to see if there is a way to fight it. The guy was being petty as all get out. I wasn't driving when he questioned it.

The d o t officer said he was saving me money and I thought how he said well I'm not running an inspection on your truck which was a good thing because it had bald drive tires and no working tractor tail lights. Also they didn't inspect my logbook which was also a good thing we were running transflo + hos that logging software has more bugs than a two-dollar hooker.

    88 Alpha Thanks this.

He went for the easy meat.He didn't want your truck clogging up his cash cow, gotta make room for the fresh fish. How many other people go to work and have cops breathing down there neck, bank robbers, jewel thieves, lol.Gotta love it.

That was a cheap shot. I'd write to the court about that and explain what happened.

Bald tires and no tractor lights? Was that your truck or a company rig?

You know you're right about that I didn't think about it at the time but coming into Klamath falls there's hardly any room he couldn't Park very many trucks there.

It was an owner operator for Fairchild that I got conned into going down to work for it was a 2016 Kenworth so I figured how bad of shape could it be in. Never go to work for someone off of Craigslist my butt still hurts.

    88 Alpha Thanks this.
