I bought a T680 in November mine also shakes 1100 to 1300 under full throttle loaded. Cummins had on the dyno and updated the ECM, no help at all. I can't get through the dealer loaded. It doesn't do it bobtail or very little empty. Feels like my 12 year old truck before I replaced a million mile rear end!!!

Oops thats a cat sorry but is your rig under warrenty
I suggest if it is going to kw say truck broken you fix and then wait if its not under warrenty then go to kw and tell them the problem and then get them to fix it newer engines are basically computers on wheels i wouldnt wana work on one
If its under warrenty and they find another problem they will fix it and your other problem if its not tell them to fix your normal problem if u tell them just to fix it youll get a sky high bill warrenty is needed 100% on new rigs wouldnt buy one without extended warrenty.
Anybody else glad they finally got nice wipers in truck i hated the old wipers they were tiny and to simple i laughedat em i was going you buy a rig for 100k+ and this with what you get lmaoLast edited by a moderator: Feb 17, 2019

I haven't read this thread in awhile, saw 8 new pages, and like 6 pages are nonsense .

So far my real life feedback on X15 at docks and fuel islands remains constant - no one has anything negative to say.
High number I've heard for mileage was a guy the other night with a 680 pulling refer, 115K miles. He said 7.3blacklabel, KB3MMX, Hegemeister and 4 others Thank this. -

Hey all i know is the cat is battle proven and ive never heard of a engine hitting 1.4 million eith out a rebuild there for the 6nz 100 percent wins and i am sorry for going of subject but i was very angry because i was dismissed because of my age and if simulators dont work then why do companys train with them i was insulted and i was pissed its a very sore spot with me im sorry for filling the page up with this stuff.

The x15 trucks are 1 to 2 years old at this point correct ? So i wana talk about 5 or 6 years down the road when shes got some age on her now we know a 6nz c15 can do 1 millions easy but the x15 has emission equipment on it which i believe will severely limit the capabilities of a well made engine in it self so i vote for that cat 6nz for long term cost effectiveness and sheer pulling power and also i do know things better than some driver i dont put my triangles 5 steps from the truck and the other 10 steps from the truck cant tell ya how many times ive seen that. Ya gotta agree with me on that at least and with that bomb shell we will close thank you for watching and next week may says go faster lol im sorry i had to make a top gear joke.

You do realize you’re comparing a pre-EPA motor against an EPA-10 motor?
This thread pertains to an EPA-17 motor in the on-highway market, of witch CAT does not have a comparison.Dave_in_AZ, KB3MMX, Goodysnap and 3 others Thank this.
