Even with a flashlight I can’t see crap under the trailer looking up into the jaws ......

I always look under there tho..also look to make sure handle is all the way back in and no gap between the fifth wheel plate and the trailer....

Then a tug test and off I go.

I noticed mine this morning (12° below) that the bolt in front hadn't gone all the way in. As much as I didn't want to, I dollied back down and rehooked.

Isn’t it fun cranking dolly gear when it’s -10 F?

    InTooDeep and Lepton1 Thank this.

Putting it in reverse and giving it a little throttle will usually push the bolt in all the way.

    Lepton1 and HoneyBadger67 Thank this.
