LOL, this is exactly the reason why , we , independent O/O are in this situation. Everyone wants to be right . No one stop for a second and try to bring a solution or at least an idea to get better in this industry.
Come on guys , who cares if he is grandstanding. No one can’t denies that crap like that happens . Some brokers will cancel your load, because they sold it to someone else for a lower rate, at the same time we can’t denie that O/O cancel loads because they found a better paid load , so what should we do about that ?
Brokers are more united than us. They keep records of you and I , therefore they can decide how much they will offer you for a load based on your company rate.
Do we keep records on them ? Do you ? If you do , is for your personal benefit , what about the rest of us ?? We don’t know !
What about records for shippers and receivers ? Do we keep records of them . Is there a serious website that you can log in and find out about them ?
Instead fighting like little 3 year olds , act and think like your age and come up with ideas .

If a broker sends you a contract via email to your home place of business, then that is sufficient jurisdiction that a contract was broken.
The fact that your taking defense of a crooked deal from a broker shows that your not in favor of honesty -

I’ve been doing this for aver five years and I haven’t have none of this problems for over 4 years. Do you want to know why ?
Because I ask, I read , I educate myself . I listen to some of the people here in this web .
I asume that the problems you named above is going to happen , therefore when I do the bid , I consider it and I charge accordingly and make sure that the revised confirmation cover TONU specifically. At the same time you if I agreed with a broker any rate and later another broker call me and offered me more money , I do not cancel my previos deal. I keep my word . -

So this started out as an informational thread, but it got heated pretty quickly here. I am going to walk inside the truck stop and grab some junk food for this. In all seriousness, brokers like. Brokers take lots of time to pay. Some are better than others. On top of that, truck drivers lie a lot. Truck drivers act as though it is only them that needs to make money. Some are better than others. Many palms have to be greased, hence constant undercutting and very little room in the "Money Maker Club" in trucking
