Who uses the lounge/media rooms these days anyway? Almost nobody in my experience. What a waste of space..

What do you think would benefit truckers the most when they decide to start utilizing valuable space?

Im sorry to hear that. I remember Des Moines East had a truckstop in which the media room was able to hold about 60 souls and two times that standing room for the big football game that day. Church services was being held at the same time in the game room about 10 feet away. Both competed for volume. (I suspect the Church Pastor was trying to override the football game... one of the few times I had bad thoughts towards a man of the cloth.)

I agree, however, it is an interesting question though. I'm not smart enough to give an answer but if this space is not being used I would suggest the truck stop find a way to use it to benefit the trucker. Like in a flying J setup a fuel desk for the diesel pumps only. That kind of thing. Fantastic question @CK73 !

How about a massage parlour with young asian women dressed in those little catholic schoolgirl uniforms?
And for their services, we pay them by the mile.
They charge us for loading and unloading pay and even, heaven forbid... downtime.

It’s legal to sell our bodies to the trucking companies for $700.00 bucks a week; why shouldn’t it be legal for those nice gals to sell their bodies to us?

Because of human trafficking that's why. There is a whole series of massage pal-ours being busted for sex. I was in one at Granite City to take care of a thrown back which was a absolute legitimate problem and the girl there she mentioned a few tidbits and it was not a good situation for me. I got out of there took that back to a doctor who straightened it out in about a hour with a injection to turn the muscles to water then hunted for the problem. He found it. Then fixed it. I did not like that injection. If you can paralyze people like that briefly in the office it's really dangerous. But no problems.

I think there was alot of that going on at that particular pal-our because I told that girl off rather rudely, what part of fix my back don't you understand. She was probably involved in it. I don't know if it was by choice or against her will. But I do know it was not right.
