Seriously this whole thing is really devisive with some people regarding politics and and E logs .
HAD a friend whom is a staunch Democrat but anti elog government anything and HAD been friends over 20 years running our east coast outlaw gig together ...we rarely discussed politics or elogs but when trump got in office he went nuts .
We haven't talked in over a year now .
Times change ....I'm doing well leased to a compliant company and he wanders from one outlaw rinky dink outfit to the next from what I hear.

    Rounded_nut and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

Funny how some who are in favor of big government suddenly realize it's not so good when it directly affects them, isn't it?

Unless you’re a megacarrier getting H2B drivers. They love big government.

I think I read that not one of of the upper management of the FMCSA, has ever had a CDL, or experience driving a truck. Typical bureaucrats. This is not the norm with other regulators in aviation, treasury, fishing, or just about any other regulated industry. These positions usually go to the ‘politically connected’, in our industry.

just as cattle ranchers dont spend the night crapping in a field in -20 temps, same thing really, all for the same outcome, more profit.

if you want to understand government just look at cattle, the cattle truck picks up the cattle, it has no concern for the cattle, its purpose is profit, the only problem people have is they are convinced their lives have more meaning than cattle, its like cattle hauling cattle, and if you see cattle in the field during a nice sunrise i think they are probably enjoying life more than every brainwashed nutjob sitting in chicago traffic.
