Company annual update requires you report convictions. As of yet your not guilty of anything. Get a Lawyer hope for best, then report convictions to company at appropriate time.

I got nailed in CA for 15 over about 5 yrs ago. He came back and fixed ticket from 15 over to 14 over before he left the scene. I say that to say this... most companies have a speeding policy that says “Speeding, if 15 or more mph over the limit, is punishable by termination or cancellation of lease”. Also, because the trooper did not perform a level I, II, III (Weighted) Inspection, there will be no CSA points associated with this traffic stop.
I totally agree with the others that say to , 1. Hire a Local Attorney that does this every day and knows the local judges. 2. Have them Ask the DA, for a continuance for as long as possible. 3. Be prepared to pay the fines.
Most likely, your attorney will get the speeding knocked down to the minimum, he’ll probably get the lane change thrown out or dismissed.

That's the best way. The company will find out anyway.
And, like the other guys said, fight the ticket.

Company reaction was very supportive so far.
A very capable person there with legal connections is going to steer me to an attourney. Tough part will be slowing down, becoming more cow-like. I will be back in my usual 65mph governed rig next week so that'll help.
Now how do I erase this thread......

I think we need @x1Heavy to chime in with a little knowledge before you think about closing up this thread.

I could think about it quite a bit and still get nowhere. It took me a half hour to figure out how to START it...how to start a new thread. I had to stumble onto the desktop site to find the ...uh...new thread button thingy.

Sounds like a decent company if they are helping you out. Definitely hire a lawyer, best to get a local attorney who works the county you got a ticket in. The local attorneys have experience with the judges and prosecutors in the local courthouse, so there is a better chance they can get results. Was it a state trooper or a city cop? In Florida if the cop doesn't show up to the court date but you (or your attorney) does, it is an automatic dismissal. Better chance of a state trooper missing the court date from what I was told.

    Good luck

Yeah, that cop could have given you a break, I did the same thing, guy in the middle lane jerking me around, went around him on the right, cop was right there. Gave me a warning on the speed and wrote me for improper display of license plates, which I will gladly pay. Asked him how fast was too fast, told me he starts looking at trucks over 75. I know that's my one and only warning.Cop could have given you a break, especially if you have a clean driving record.

    I don't feel so bad for my 60 on a 55 OS/OW permit warning.

You deserved the tickets, no excuse for either violation in CMV.
