Canadian Truck fuel and leaves.

    Is it just me or is Petro-Canada becoming a bunch of cheap pricks?

    I'm starting to have issues getting showers and what not. Like just now I got in an arguement with the guy here in Dorchester ON.

    "I Need a shower, but they are all locked."
    "Did you buy fuel?"
    "Yeah, yesterday. That's why I can get into the drivers lounge."
    "No sir it unlocks for the cards."

    Meanwhile I needed a manager to let me in to do laundry a few days ago, because unless you buy fuel it doesn't authorize all the goodies.

    "So I need to see your receipt."
    "Don't have one."
    "Did it not print?"
    "No I didn't print it. I don't print them cause I don't need to, and I'm not going to carry a bunch of receipts just to show you."

    He tried to force me to pay for showers he has locked, which I'm sure is against policy. I don't know anymore I'm starting to hate Petro-Canada for being cheap slimy Frogs. Let's just say I'd like to see them go out of business. Not to mention the constant DEF issues and piss poor cleanliness of most of them.

    What we really need is TA and Loves to break into Canada full throttle, and put husky, and Petro-Canada out of Business.

    When I owned my own truck I fueled exclusively with TA, I'm an Ultra one Memeber and never had 5 min trouble with them. Only their service shops being morons.

    Never had much luck with TA. Dumpy facilities, slow, crappy shops.

    I refuse to stop at Petro Pass because of their treatment of people without the exalted Petro Pass card. The best thing that ever happened was Flying J opening in Medicine Hat. Now all we need is one in Estevan. I guess Petro Pass wants to go out of business. Same goes for the Musky Husky.

    Ha I'm guessing you haven't heard about how TA/petro has changed their rewards program. It sucks now. You can always go to flying J if you don't mind over paying for Canadian fuel

    Don't you hate it when you pull up to a truck stop out of hours and in desperate need of a shower but your fuel tank is full and you just had like 3-4 days off-duty causing your free shower to time out?

    You know I remember when they started this crap with their cards and access. I've had an account with them back when it was a keylock. Pull in and can't access the washrooms, call them to be told that if I hadn't used my card in a while then it's a no go. I say I've been in the US and therefore haven't used it but would be nice to use the facilities. No go they say. You want guy's using the parking lot for a toilet I ask? Up to you they say. Nice, not sure of the logic there.

    Last rumor i heard was loves was looking into buying huskys fuel network.they are already partnering with bfd or whatever they are.
