My zGps RM740 gives me a setting option to prefer or allow big roads and small roads and also toll/free roads. If it's your GPS and the company gives you any freedom over route choice, pick the big roads.

PA is fun, especially the exceptions on truck routes and those detours.

I saw a dump trailer on a narrow road yesterday, probably hauling chicken droppings.

Staying on the interstates is the key to survival in the Keystone State.

I really hated PA the first few times I went there, but after the 20th or so episode, Pennsylvania grew on me. Be a good place to live if it weren't so corrupt. Danged Amish mafia.

Y'all know what makes PA really fun? As a lifelong resident of quite possibly one of the most corrupt, pothole ridden states, I can tell you what's really fun here ...

    The volunteer firefighters.

They will close a two lane road for an accident, or whatever. They will usually set up a detour, and you're just automatically supposed to know the detour route. They will direct you to said detour, point you in the general direction, and once you're out of sight, you're totally on your own. No signs, fire police to direct you, nothing.

Oh and the construction. Can't forget our legendary construction season that never seems to accomplish much.

    Yep, PA is just great!
