I received a ticket for window tint on a company truck in 5/2009. Gave all paperwork to dispatch, DOT inspection report and ticket for them to handle. They paid to have windows tinted, I removed tint at time of inspection so I could continue on my trip. On the ticket it stated I needed to appear in court on fine, I live and drive out of another state with no way to return when needed, even though I told company about this.
I haven't given it another thought, I've been DOT'd several times since. Had my MVR ran for insurance purposes nothing about the ticket has ever showed up.
I am now disabled, and hold a part time job that required a background ck. Now I'm in jeopardy of losing my job because I have a warrant out for this 10 yr old ticket.
10 year old ticket unpaid by company, now my job is in jeopardy.

Contact a lawyer and tell him the company said they took care of it; now you find out they didn't.

Also, @D.Tibbitt is right; it's a simple ticket for window tint; maybe Google for a traffic attorney in your area or the state where you got the ticket.D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
How steep is the fine? Honestly if it’s $500 or less I’d just pay the #### thing and get it done with.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
2nd pay the ticket. i would have paid it 10 years ago.
D.Tibbitt Thanks this. -
They just want the money.
Pay it and it should go away.
It's a bench warrant/FTA.
Call the magistrate in that county and speak nicely.
Explain the situation and ask how it can be most simply resolved.
DO THAT RIGHT NOWdunchues, Studebaker Hawk, poppapump1332 and 2 others Thank this.
