There's a lot more observations I'd like to share here, but I don't. What's the point? I'm a white male, completely independent business owner, so obviously I am some kind of oppressor and therefore my opinion and observations are irrelevant.

I guess I'm no better, I'm painted with the same brush as you. I'm just not afraid to call out the BS. You want a forum on trucking? Let us talk about the issues in our industry. If it's a sensitive topic allow it to continue until it gets out of hand. Deleting any and all posts like has been going on here is actually censorship, and I won't put up with it. Especially since it doesn't infringe on forum rules to my knowledge.

Mind you I have noticed the mods being extra sensitive to everything lately. That or maybe some of us are being singled out. Maybe we are 'bad eggs'. Lol

 

Probably. And I agree. Just changing the definition of the word. It's to the point we can't even have a factual conversation on the issue. Or, if there is no issue and people like you and I then our points can be refuted and we will be put in our place. I'm still waiting for that to happen. But it never will if the conversation is silenced from the get go.

On that thought. I wonder if I can simply identify as whatever victim class is required to meet the criteria when the times comes I have 50 drivers and 1 of them needs to be from whatever category to appease our liberal overlords...

 

I'm getting a mod to help understand what's going on now. Same one who closed my thread on the help page. So I think I might have read his message out of context when he said it, cause he is being really helpful. Still though. Certain types of censorship is bull and what's happening on this thread is not cool.

Don't get me wrong if we called CNTL drivers slurs, then by all means delete everything and drop the Ban hammer. Lol

 

I don't get what would be wrong with stating your experience. (Was it yours?) Where, basicly, white guy applies for a driving job at an immigrant run East Indian company then gets told before even reading the resume once interviewer sees white guy "sorry no work for you here." When on the other hand the gov forces white man company to hire East Indians against the companies will. That's racism against the white guy. And it's not heresay, it's first hand account.

Unless my mind is playing tricks on me. It could be. I'm just a stupid truck driver, after all..

That was a different thread, this is something different. With them and TransX merging, and the whole industry under review, I'm willing to bet CNTL is gonna be changing pretty quick here.

 

I think I found out what got my comment deleted. I understand it to a point. I'm still bothered that the MOD responsible didn't have the... Initiative to say something to me and allow me time to fix it but instead just deleted the comment thinking that was okay.

How can this process actually fix anything? How are we supposed to know where the line is if they don't let us know?
