I try to have a way to deal with crap situations. A backup plan for the back up plans. P.A.C.E, right?

    For example, the frozen brakes....
Primary plan? Truck when it's warm outside.

Alternate? Park it in the shop at night.

Contingency? Pull that Johnny bar a bit and heat those trailer brakes up the last mile or two coming in to the yard or truckstop. The heat dries the brakes off so they can't freeze.

Emergency? Aforementioned methanol sprayer. Or beat the drum. But I have a big piece of cardboard from a refrigerator box under my mattress. I'm still not laying in mud or snow.

A rolled up piece of anti slip mat makes a decent off road creeper too. So would @Grubby in a panel van, but I dont have the room.

I've done things I'm not proud of.

But I still have my limits. No Mega's after the first year. At least we could do 76 there.
Passed every Weiner Wagon I ever saw back then.
How dare you cuss me like that !
I'm gonna avoid Mississlippi for at least a week because of that.

Hmm. I was trying to make him think that he was doing penance. Came out like a reward didn't it ? Rats !

I had people on TTR tell me that I was disgusting for carrying a 5 gallon bucket and tall kitchen garbage bags for emergency mudslides. Disgusting is how you feel when you’re trying to hold back a mudslide and the portOjohn is full of brown recluse.

Just got home to fix brake line, fix busted exhaust, swap trailers, about ten other things.....and be a couple hundred miles northwest of here before the sun even thinks about rising.

Where's this ten hour break everyone keeps talking about????
