Forgot about this one. Monday 0400 appointment. I arrived at 0340. Went into the drivers cage. Hi I’m Joe with CXXX trucking. Here for my 4 am appointment Was greeted by 4 workers. Was looked at but 5 others. Finally at 0445 one of the guys that looked at me had left and came in the drivers entrance. He says I and I ask if I can get unloaded. Told him I had been there for 45 minutes. He says oh that’s not acceptable. Well it was when you were on the other side of the cage. Jerkoff.

    Unload went quickly.

I deliver to Owen's and minor locations alot and they're all the same .
No over night parking , 3 or 4 am appt ., wait around in the cage for 15 mins or so .
Nice part is they all unload very fast and put your paperwork in the cage when they are done .
I applied at Owens and minor in Omaha about 25 years ago and it was a bottom of the barrel low wage job with lousy hours .
Part of getting in and out of hospitals and clinics with a tractor trailer I suppose.
I dont take their apathy to personal knowing about what they make and the hours they work .
And yes I passed on the job .lol

The one in Allentown, PA the guy got to me for my BOL before I could get my boots on lol. It’s like he wanted trucks unloaded and gone quickly. Was there maybe 10 minutes.

Romulus had overnight parking but I was doing a 34 at the Detroiter.

I hate being ignored, but when I’m ignored in that cage, I want to start acting like a rabid animal in a cage. God that would be hilarious

I feel your pain and Allentown is a frequent delivery for me and they dont screw around other than the cage torture lol.
I've been unloaded so fast there I've beat traffic to preffered freezers in philly in the morning.

Glad they treat all unloads like that. Parking in that area sucks. And that WaWa is awful. I felt like the minority there.

When I go there I hang at the midway diner and get up at zero dark 30 and head in .
Everything I do for them is fluid filled and temp controlled.

No. Dry van. Medical supplies usually deliver between 0100-1200. This way they can be reloaded and delivered to the hospitals during the day.
