Mostly birds of various types.
In Ohio had a big blue heron hit the truck just above the windshield. What a sound. I thought it busted the fiberglass.
Lots of mice. Running at night in Texas. They run across the road in huge waves. Will really mess with you.
What's your road kill score?

4 deer, never taken any damage, some little critters.

36 years is way too long of a list to remember. Still looking for my first Libtard though.

Most memorable was a seagull to the helmet on a Honda CB750 doing about...... well, doing what crotch rockets do best. That rocked my world.
Worst was a dog that ran out to bark at the truck, and slipped on the ice.... and under the drives he went. Bet he won't do that again.
Got out of the sleeper once and my co driver/ rookie handed me a fog light a deer ripped off. Way to center them up, driver.
Around here, it's rooster pheasants this time of year. They have lovin' on their mind and get their fix-by-windshield.not4hire, Lepton1, x1Heavy and 1 other person Thank this. -
2 children, 3 old ladies, 1 state trooper and 2 puppies.
bryan21384, striker, RockinChair and 6 others Thank this. -
Too numerous to remember. The best ones are those that did not suffer. THUMP! However there were a few interesting ones. a couple bad ones.
The worst is along the Red River near Texas in OK at night, the cattle with the dark hides get out of the fields into the roads. Since they are larger than cars you don't want to hit them And always had a car in front of you who usually does hit them.
It's balanced by animals that get into the cab. Usually a few seagulls early in the morning near the bay or harbor if you foolishly left a box of visible doughnuts and coffee up on the dash. One stole a whole doughnut out of there and when it took off knocked over another drink on the pax side. I think it might have had a bite or two trying to get away with it from all the other gulls.
Sometimes I collect a thousand bugs of all kinds down south. And when fueling a dozen birds get in there on the radiator and start clearing them out from between the metal fins. From the looks of them it's good eating. -
I absolutely obliterated a deer back in 2015 in Iowa. Bambi tried his hardest to get my hood, but luckily I had just barely enough time to move over safely, so he got sucked under my 33000 lb trailer tandems instead & got splattered all over I-80. Idiot.

I've often wondered what the vehicles looked like that leave those elk carcasses along the highway. They're as big as a cow.
