    Does CRST do hair follicle? If not, better just go with CRST.

    @Chinatown no they just do urine test. When you get there and also at the end of orientation. At least that’s what I heard.

    If that's a fact, then go with CRST.
    Finish the contract, then go about anywhere you want.

    @Chinatown yeah that’s the plan everything I have read so far is people doing 3 months and leaving for another company but I’m going to hold my own no matter what I mean it’s just a year.

    To ask if there is a drug test of a particular type shows a good possibility that there is a history of use somewhere in the recent past.

    With that new database being deployed for 2020-2023 I imagine there will be a awful lot of people unable to get a job at all if they ever are detected with a drug test or refused one anywhere in this industry.

    To the question, Yes a good employer checks the history and it goes back 3,7, 10 years generally. After 10 years have gone by some of your really bad employers are not mentioned at all. In my case my 10 year history is zip, zero etc. When it's time to road test or with trainer, Im pretty sure it will become VERY apparent fast that I have experience.

    @x1Heavy
    I couldn’t agree with you more on the drug part. I do firmly believe if your planning on driving period there should be no drug use period. A career is more important than a high. I only used to smoke weed gave it up plain and simple I just need my nicotine on home time drink a beer or two. I wouldn’t risk failing a random test. As far as experience after I get a year under my belt I’ll definitely leave CRST on good terms.

    You will be ok, there is no issue. It will be interesting when the US Government completes the removal of Pot from the DEA Drug schedules. (Essentially legalizing same.) There is a effort underway to do that. It will take time. I have had pot twice long ago from friends and found it's not my flavor and did not like it. My vices were other things in those days.

    Come to think of it, in those days there was nothing at all prior to the CDL Laws after 1991 to detect or capture those using drugs or drinking. Pulling up to a alcohol shop to buy a 6 pack or bottle with the bobtail was pretty common back then. (Imagine that today.. the phones would be off the hook no?)

    @x1Heavy that would be funny to see a bobtail picking up a six pack. Someone would call somebody

    They all have bad reviews. All about the same. I was referring to recruiters in general. Can’t believe a word they say.
