Yeah, that makes sense. Or maybe some other people injured in the crash might not be doing so well, so they’re waiting to see how many counts of VM he’ll finally be charred with. Good point.

I still don’t love holding a guy without charging, but you’re right, in this case it makes sense.

Did you see the violation that says that the required auto adjustment system doesn’t allow for brake wear?! You know, like when you smoke your brakes coming down a mountain and end up in rush hour traffic?

Usually means an auto slack wasn’t working and the brake on that wheel was out of adjustment

Company was granted carrier authority 20 months ago. They racked up 30 violations is TWENTY months. I wonder what the company name was before this. There is really a bigger systematic problem at play here but my arm is wore out from beating that government enabled horse

It looks like they said they had 17 inspections since they’ve been operating. That’s a lot!! 30 violations on 17 inspections kinda sounds worse than it may be (it’s not great, no doubt), considering some of them are clerical type stuff. Am I wrong on that?

About one inspection a month. That could easily happen.

Yeah Drivers didn’t fill out their Elog correctly a few times by not entering the plate number I can understand that.

but 10 brake violations though...... that won’t look good to a jury when the company is on trial.

I see the company is a LLC. probably not enough money there to be even worth sueing them.

!9 inspections, 10 brake violations, better than 50% just on brakes, their athourity should have already been pulled.
Written up twice for a driver or drivers that could not read or speak english, why were they written up and not pulled from the truck and license not suspended.

Seems like the dot likes money over safety.
