Twas doing the post trip earlier and noticed none of my tail lights on the truck were working... well hum. Figured it was a fuse or what have you somewhere, well I drop the wagon and pop the five pin off... sure nough there’s the issue. Corroded. So I clean it up as best we can.... run a bypass wire. Still not working... hum. I’m all out of ideas. TA shop time!



Ended up having a nice torn wire down behind the LP. Well.. I was close anyway.

 

Currently parked at the Pete store in downtown Baltimore! A prayer would be appreciated!! Lol!! Dummies told me to drop the trailer inside the gate....that's closed.....and locked....

Hopefully the fact that it rained and it's Sunday night will increase the safety factor!! If I'd a known this was gonna happen I would have come "well heeled"!

 

I know your a Baltimore guy n all, but I’d be on cloud nine to never have to pull the knobs and open my door in the entire state of Maryland ever again.

 

Y'all ever get in around between Dallas and Ft Worth, the Hooters off 183 on Belt Line Rd is pretty decent. The food is fine, but the girls are fun lol.

Starting to look like a truck:
New drive tires tomorrow, install headache rack, new oversize sign on rack, wire rack lights in, install wet kit, should be ready to go. Oh, and license it.

I know most of you could do in a week what has taken us a month, but I can say we took no shortcuts, and hopefully she'll last until I'm too old and then the boy can have her!

 

Western Maryland and the Eastern shore ain't bad. The rest of it takes some getting used to..I've been here for 45 of my 49 years... guess I just don't know no better!
