@AModelCat I always wondered what the price for the Autocar hood would be 10 or 15 years down the road. I left there in 05 and we were buying aftermarket wia hoods. They ran them a few more years. 2010 got a 2006 4900sa western star hood for 8-9k. Western Star had to make it, no in stock. Insurance guys claimed to he could get aftermarket. Two weeks later gave me the go ahead for factory hood. Sometime its expensive to have a limited production unit.

Well, what I can see is the mirror brackets on the CT660 attach to the cab, as opposed to the door on the Paystar. Also, notice the bottom of the window opening on both. On the CT it comes straight out first, slopes down, and flattens out again, as opposed to sloping down first on the Paystar.

Now this one may be my eyes playing tricks on me, but notice the corner of the cab where the hood mates up to it on the CT. The hood on the CT seems to have a mitred corner as opposed to a rounded on the Paystar.

Not that it matters any. I’m just bored. :)
