Started today in Shippensburg, PA, and today was the first time ever that I got red lighted in every scale that I went by. Other than that, it was nice maintaining 67-68 mph climbing hills on I 81.

I m glad these new Cascadia s maintain their pulling power, and don t cut out after awhile like the previous Detroit's. And the jake brakes are powerful too. The 3rd stage will drop your speed 5 mph quick, whether you have 4,000 or 44,000 lbs.

Hopefully I will be in Anniston in the morning, kick off this load and go to the house. I m burnt out

    LDYTRUCKER and Bumper Thank this.

I got the red light coming into Cali. But I think everyone was getting it.

Finished out my second drop in Mira Loma. Got a load out of Anaheim heading east of Macon, GA. Good 2300 mile run. I think this is to make up for the nightmare I took over so the other driver could have home time. Wrong paperwork with the wrong address and delivery times, so put me behind a day. 3 day run for 550 miles. I took it out on dispatch for a day. I feel awful about it and ended up apologizing, since it technically wasnt his fault. I told him I needed to vent a little and he sat there on his day off and let me get it all out haha.

Would love to try and get 4k miles on the next check since this one isnt due to unload until Monday. Just happy to be getting out of the southwest.

Yeah if you came in on the I 15 South from Las Vegas everyone crosses the scale at that new big Super Coop.

    Well, great week.

Broke 4k. Personal best, and pretty happy with myself. Hopefully I'll make top miles this month!

On some well needed down time, I took the time to break down my numbers with S&S through the first 19 weeks of 2019:

Total paid miles: 51,254: Average weekly miles:2,698.
    Weekly average gross: 1.323.21

Here s a few other accomplishments:
Top driver for the month of April in miles:14,453
#6 in total miles in the company for the year
#10 in total miles for the last 90 days
    # 7 in total miles for the last 180 days

I DID NOT post this for any kind of recognition, I just wanted to share with people who may be thinking about coming aboard.

We may not be a top certified pay carrier, but when you compare us to other certified top pay carrier companies, S&S makes up for it in driver amenities in their equipment. Does the certified top pay carriers offer APU's, DirectTV, the freedom to pick or choose where you want to go? Do they offer average lengths of haul of 1200 miles or greater? Do they get you home on time, and you choose how long you stay home? I can honestly say everytime I needed to be home, I m usually home a day earlier than expected

I m currently in Fargo waiting for my Monday pickup since I had to take my truck to Freightliner for some warranty issues. I will have to come back to them because they have to order the parts that were broken or wasn t working when they left the plant in NC.

Once Monday rolls around, I will head to Park Rapids, MN then to Richmond, VA

And lastly, S &S drivers, we as a whole, including myself, have to do a better job on silly violations. Getting red lighted at every scale gets old very quick

Lonesome, LDYTRUCKER and drvrtech77 Thank this.

Yes. But with S&S, the first 4 hours are on you, then after 4 hrs its 10.00 hr. Was there 5 hrs

I was told 20 an hour up to 100 a day. Same with detention, but that's after 2 hours on us. My breakdowns have been days worth, like the harness and whatnot, so I guess I never noticed the hourly breakdown. You might want to double check that if you havent.

I'm looking forward to a 34. I've been running recap, just got another run of 1300 miles due Monday. My low days keep ending on a Friday/Saturday, and getting a Sunday load is hard here, so I tell them to keep running me while I shift my time to mid week for the low days. Been doing a few 400-500 mile runs just to utilize the 3-4 hour low days on the weekends. So far it's working really well.

You are doing really well. Hopefully I can get on your level lol.

    bigkev1115 and Lonesome Thank this.

What is this 12% pay increase coming in July on the S&S webpage?
