I have a feeling you may help your problem.

 

So gents 1997 F350 7.3l auto 132k miles and I know both owners. I have serviced and worked on them as 444's at IH but only that. Few injectors and acc bolted to engine. Any good tips? I'm not hot roding it, and know EO4D trans is a slush box turd. Still has exhaust converter and oil pan has been replaced. Figured some of you guys know them inside and out. I'm guessing most other don't have the converter anymore?

 

I gutted the muffler she’s a straight pipe now

 

A long ways from inside out, but the only things that came up in my 95 in the 300k miles was a cam sensor, glow plugs, the valve cover gaskets that have the wires running through them to the injectors and glow plugs, and turbo pedestal o rings.

And, Lilbow drove it to high school for awhile. He has some stories about that truck that I'm pretty sure I haven't heard!

 

I run a muffler appearance package, never bothered.

Glad to here 300k. This old bucket might last a while then.
