I confess that I have never been a very social person... and after all these years living on my own in the truck, I have become even more recluse...
I may say hi to someone (man / woman) depending on the circumstance.... and my mood at the moment.... And sometimes they don't say hi back to me.... Oh well...

Riding solo, female, from another country?!? I think 'YEP' ... Can't get the wife to go solo; she wants to go H/H OSOW with me.. (and no I don't do that but I've had offers) and they won't even let her RIDE along. Companies are very strict on having a 'passenger' with a CDL anymore. Wish my wife would make the quantum leap. Our son turns 16 in January; we shall see.

You ALWAYS stand your ground about your beliefs, your driving, your lanes, diet; everything up in here..... more guts and glory then some of the guys on here, tbh. You and miss @laaylor have my vote, tbh.

    Take heed, OP~!!

    Rocks and Dreazz75 Thank this.

Ahh... he pulls a reefer. Good money in that; just a lot of sitting sometimes. Once he gets more experience and you decide to go OTR with him, look into tanks. That's what my wife pulled with me. She sure couldn't do it alone, but we made great money teaming. The hoses are about 100 lbs each; the coupling, the catwalks, ehhhh... look it up.

Get some experience under your belt with him reefer. I taught my wife in the tank when it was baaaaarely legal to do so. It's shorter than a reefer, and you don't back up much, but sure can't take curves or hills fast. Tanks usually pull with a manual.

Are you learning in an auto or a manual, btw?

    Rocks and Dreazz75 Thank this.
