Nope that's a dedicated truck so all the stations must be onside only. I don't think cox runs any fuel trucks with offside plumbing.

I wonder how many gallons was spilled? Just by looking at the picture it seems that hardly any gallons got out. A little bit of Kitty Litter and dams created to catch the gasoline shows someone was on the Ball. I don't know how it happened but I can say the truck did what it's designed to do for keeping the spill to a minimum. It's going to cost Cox plenty but this is a prime example where more money the better the clean up.

Nevermind the entire trailer spilled, 4800 gallons. Cause of the wreck was a collision with a stalled car in the right lane.

And what the heck are you doing up at 3am I thought you guys worked banker hours :D

That's how we lost 2 drivers. All except the vehicle being stall. In our case the car in both cases had missed their off ramp and was backing up. Dangerous place that L.A. is.

They are one of the better companies, Pacific is one of the worst. Pacific makes you sign a 2 year contract and if you quit or get fired, you owe them something like $5k for training. They are also the only company down here that pays by the load. And one of their drivers ripped a loading arm off the rack at tesoro wilmington which completely screwed up my workflow and schedule for a few days, I'm still salty about that. Don't work for those guys.

Man I've been on the 2pm shift going on 5 years now. I love it. Get all day to myself, then go throw some loads in the ground and home by 12-1 usually. Can't remember the last time I woke up to an alarm clock.

Amen to the afternoon shift as well. I go in at 2 usually. Thursday’s at 4. Do 11-12 hours. Off around 1-2 am usually. It’s a good gig I gotta say. Easier for me than starting at 5 am and WAY easier than when I started at 2 am or 8pm or some stupid nonsense. Only thing that sucks is my truck is the one plowing the road all winter and I’m chaining while everyone else wakes up to clean roads the next day.
