I suspect my company swapped engines. Is it possible?

you got that eurotrash bait-and-switch congratulations..
American Truck business group atg down there Mississippi was accused of doing that more than once parently they learn from them??
that's right you don't just park it at one of the dirt lots around Chicago like most people do pay to park in the dirt lot plenty of them all around..
and you came out and said who they were right off the bat and would have made it a whole lot easier to end this endless comment feed of mystery -
Was 17% his idle time, or from someone else?
IS he going to make it past warranty without an issue? why should it be his problem anyway. just because it was only 17%? -

Is 17% a problem? doubtful. In the short term anyway. What happens further on down the line and there is a problem. Is it ok just because it was at 17% prior to warranty? A 17% that may or not be a result of the driver. He didn't do it why should it be his problem?Forever237 Thanks this. -
There are other reasons to void a warranty besides idling time that could be recorded on it.
skellr Thanks this. -
Wish any of my trucks had that low of idle.
As has been said a bunch of times check the engine serial number against what came with your truck. It’s not hard.
Lastly, if you trust these people that little find another company.Forever237, starmac, p608 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Still.....I would expect I could tell just by looking if someone swapped my ECM. And then as mentioned software *might* tell him alsoLast edited: Jun 3, 2019
