Schneider Intermodal local, what's it paying?

Do yall get rail delay pay when yall get hung up at the rails?
Paid holidays?
Detention at customers?
Breakdown hourly pay?

 

Can anyone speak to intermodal in Houston, TX? I'm looking to start CDL school in July and my plan is try to get into otr tanker after school for the first year to get experience and then switch to intermodal or something from the ports to try and get better home time.

I've been looking at Schneider, they seem to have a lot of stuff running out of Houston. Also looking at Superior-Carriers.

 

I would go to Superior anyday. Houston?? You're in tanker land bro!

 

I would tend to agree, however the one open posted position I find for Superior in Houston indicates it requires 12 mos verified recent experience.

That would be = 0! LOL! I'm looking to start CDL school in July. Just trying research opportunities to scope out the job market. That's pretty much why I was looking at Schneider b/c they take new CDL grads.
