If you go with that truck make sure you get the maintenance records and check for electrical repairs behind the dash from water leaks from the marker lights and windshield. I had a lot of trouble with my 2015 Cascadia because of the water leaks. I took it to a body shop recently and I think they fixed it right, finally.

Look at the “www” on the pic you sent. Those are 3rd party agents who get bonuses when a driver signs up. They are independent companies and don’t work for Landstar.

good point. I drove a 2016 Cascadia for a short time when I was a company driver and it had plenty of leaks. I always blamed them on the body damage that the truck had when it was assigned to me. That thing had taken a beating from whoever previously drove it.

If you are buying and financing a used truck, I reccomend the following:

    - Get a Rigdig report. Its carfax for trucks. Cost - $50
    - Have a ASE mechanic go over the truck completely including a DOT inspection. Cost - $250.00
    - Have dealership do a dyno on the truck . If they wont do it...walk away!
    - See if dealership will put an extended warranty from the manufacturer on the truck. Cost of the warranty is
cheaper then what it costs to fix any component, Especially the after treatment parts.

The only down side to rigdig is if the company (us xpress. swift.. ect) does the body work IN HOUSE it won't show up...

A friend was driving a new Volvo for us xpress when it was hit by lighting. It cooked the wiring. They had it towed to a terminal and gutted a wrecked Volvo they had fir the wiring. They did all the work in house... that truck was never right again and rigdig didn't show anything

It's been fine so far. Had a bad slack adjuster (cheap fix) and broke the plastic T fitting for the front heater.. 14,000 miles and avg 8.4 mpg

    Not true.
    Nonforceddispatch.com is the DUV agent
    Americasbesttrucking.com is the KCL agent
GAD agency also has a website

But on leasetolandstar.com, which is directly linked to landstar, the email is recruiter@landstar.com

That was my point that it’s not landstar.....I said it was 3rd party agents...... you helped prove my point.... those agents aren’t employed by landstar. And when you email recruiter@landstar.com you’re going to be referred to one of those agencies.

That doesn't sound bad. I'd be interested to hear how it goes in the long run. The main thing that makes me skittish about buying an International is the motor. I have absolutely no use for the Maxxforce, and based on what I've heard, the ISX is like playing Russian roulette. Some go for a million miles, some blow up before 100,000. From what I hear, the DD15 is the safest bet for a DEF motor.
