Hello, Goodafternoon,
I wanted to reach out and maybe get some help from someone with experience with gooseneck set ups. I was concerned about the amount of space between the truck bed and trailer please see attached picture and let me know your thoughts. Also my trailer is a older model 1996 kaufman so im not familiar with this coupler, on the left side the pin hole is smaller then the one on the right. The one on the left takes a screw my last trailer was a 2018 so it was simple put the hitch pin across to the other side and secure with a pin, this one has a different insertion that im not familiar with. if anyone can assist i would appreciate it
dont mind the wrench i put it on their temporary just to pull the trailer forward

Pickup looking close to the trailer, as long as you can turn all the way left and right without hitting the trailer should be ok be very careful when twisting and angle up or down hill as for as the hook up good luck

Don’t get a gooseneck trailer, they overturn and will cost you. Get a fifth wheel.
