The 3 weeks of training I did there were great. I was in a nice new Kenworth and had a good dispatcher. I should've left the day they assigned me my truck. The windshield was pitted very bad. Both headlights were fogged bad. The wipers didn't clear water from the windshield. I Could barely see at night. It was impossible in the rain. Within a month my driver seat fell off. It was supposed to be a temporary truck. It never saw a mechanic after asking my dispatcher multiple times. My apu went out they didn't want to pay thermoking to fix it. I was sent to a residential area in Houston to get my idle shutdown turned off. I drove by an International dealer to get there. I had to back out on to a highway after the work was done. My dispatcher, Gilbert, was the worst dispatcher I've ever had at any company. He refused to talk to me over the computer. He wanted to talk on the phone so he could tell me to do something illegal. I would be doing a split slipper so I could make a delivery and he would call and wake me up for no reason multiple times. I would tell him that I was out of hours he would tell me to do something off the clock. I worked off the clock almost every day instead of sleeping. I once told him that I didn't have hours to do a delivery, I was told to pick it up anyway. I took me 3 hours to drive 21 miles in central Florida. He says it should take 30 minutes. Then I was threatened with a late fine if I didn't make the delivery. most of the other dispatchers were good except for Julio. He screamed at me over the phone for something my idiot dispatcher did. As much #### as I put up with there I never disrespected anybody like that. He can barely speak English and told me I am supposed to pull over Everytime I get a peoplenet message. I didn't ever have time. Someday a driver is going to walk into the dispatch office and hit him in his ####ing mouth. After this I sent a message saying that I needed a new dispatcher or I was going to quit. I get messaged saying to call. At this point I'm refusing to communicate with any dispatcher over the phone up until I left. After that I was sent to California every week until I left. Then they were surprised I left. I was told to withhold 5 percent for taxes, luckily I withheld 15. I'm getting a return that is about half of what I paid to get it prepared. I was also sent a state of New Mexico tax form when I was told I didn't need to pay New Mexico taxes. If you don't mind working illegal then this will be a good place for you to work. I left for Swift and was a lot happier. I got a larger paycheck without having to work in my off duty time. My truck was perfect too, any repairs I needed were taken care of imediatly. I'm working local now for a lot more than I made there. My advice to this company is get better dispatchers.1 bad dispatcher can make you lose 20 good drivers. If you do work here don't do k1. You are not a partner, you are an employee that pays double taxes. They have forced dispatch and #### you on home time.
Tldr; No maintenance, no home time, bad dispatchers. I WAS PAID MORE AND TREATED BETTER BY SWIFT. SWIFT IS A BETTER PLACE TO WORK THAN HERE.

It amazes me that people go to work for companies that literally tip their hands with the idiotic names they choose for their companies..

There’s one here in St. Louis named “Alcatraz”. And from what I’ve read about them, pretty much sums them up
