And yeah, the more I think, the more I'd say you wouldn't want to be a truck driver in Afghanistan. Not if you're an American. There are a lot less US Forces there now. Even when there were, they weren't every where. Between the Taliban, Al Qaeda, ISIS now, and the corrupt ANA and ANP, it won't work well for you. You probably won't have to worry about IEDs on base, but you'll be spending a lot of time in the soak lots. Anything can happen in there. A soak lot is where they keep trucks for 1-3 days, incase they are VBIEDs. They'll blow up in the soak lot instead of on base if they are timed. And those are massive explosions. You can hide a LOT of HME in a truck.
