WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) - A crash involving a jackknifed tanker truck has closed part of Interstate 91 southbound in Wallingford on Tuesday.
The Department of Transportation says that two left lanes are shut down on I-91 southbound between exits 17 and 14 due to a truck accident that was reported at 12:15 p.m.
According to the DOT, traffic is congested for about 3.6 miles on the southbound side. There is also a 3 mile delay on the northbound side on that part of the highway.
Emergency crews responded to the scene but there is no word on any injuries at this time.
