Im going to give them a shot if I could ever get the recruiter to take my calls! Ok, its only been two times I didnt get through.
Gazoo: How many positions do you think will be open around mid October? My graduation day is Oct 11th.
How strict are they on criminal history? What about MVR?

 

Well, I didnt even make it as far as filling out an application. I was told they werent hiring out of the Valdosta terminal(which is a hop, skip, and a jump from me). The lady I spoke to said there were no openings right now. I still have 8 weeks until graduation so I might have luck trying later on.

 

Im confused. The Epes website says you have to have 1 year OTR to apply, but reading the posts here, sounds like there may be an opportunity coming out of school??? Can someone clarify this, thanks.

Can anyone tell me what their truck requirements are? I have a 98 Volvo, but it is in really good condition. It's harder and harder to find a good place to lease it on with since economy suffering. My wife and I are team and are having hard time making any money. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Anyone know how EPES Transport is to drive for?Are they a good or bad co to drive for?Just wondering about miles per wk,equipment condition,home time,pay ect.Been driving for big orange for 14 yrs.Any info would be great.And thinking about changing and moving back to VA the Abingdon area.From what I've seen of their trucks they look well maintained when I see them on the road.No tickets or accidents or anything of that sort.And do they do any dedicated runs out of the Kingsport area in Tn?Thanks in advance and be safe.
