I've had other Swift drivers pass me going down a hill because that is the only way they can do it. They seem to think it is free speed and that it will shorten their trip by a huge amount.
They might save a minute or two all day by speeding down hills, and I can't see how it is worth the risk.

Speed limit on I-70 in Colorado, all mtn. passes, reads Vehicles over 26,000 GVWR Speed limit: 35 mph or 45 mph. Doesn't matter if you're empty or loaded. Coworker was recently stopped outside the Eisenhower tunnel, bobtail, 50 in a 35. He tried to plead ignorance, the cop politely showed him on both his registration and the door sticker that his GCVWR are over 26,000 lbs. Let him off with a warning.

Someone somewhere is full of crap cause there is no way bobtail can weight 26 000 without a trl, unless of course it's some custom made truck!
Bobtail truck weight somewhere around 18-20k not above 26!

    D.Tibbitt Thanks this.

Its not about how much it actually weighs, its about how much weight its registered for, that technical #### will get ya.
