    T
    trucker abuse.
You have no idea how easy we have it here.
Somebody has to say or do something to you
    To be abused.

I haven't been on the phone more than 10 minutes
A week in years working here.
Only abuse we get is,they never ever answer
    The phone for anybody.

If by some slim chance, someone does answer when you
Call in, I'm so shocked,I forgot why I called in
    The first place.

By turning the paperwork in at the terminals,
There's less chance of it being lost in the mail.
    That's why they do it.

    mushroom1464 and jdrentzjr Thank this.

    Prefer Text Message myself ,
    apparently they do to.
99% of the time we are
    communicating in under a
    minute using this method.

Unless there is an incident or
    a breakdown notification there’s
no real need to bother them

    Lost in the mail? Lol.

Do they also require you to call them on a rotary phone? Do you have to pick up your paper check and cash it at the bank in person?

I've never had paperwork lost using the translow app on my phone and they get the paperwork instantly. If for some reason they didn't then you can send it a second time because you still have it. Isn't that amazing?

    Get over it.
If you don't like the way they operate, leave.
    It's that simple.
Quit #####ing about something you have no
    Control over.

Hey guys, I started with Poly in June and got a Peterbilt.

I have been trying to get the sound system to play my music/audiobooks when I connect my phone.

I can’t get the speakers to play anything other than the radio. I haven’t tried a CD, who uses them anymore? USB or Bluetooth connections don’t seem to play sound, even when the display says the tracks title, so I know the connection is happening.

Was this disabled by POLY, or is this just my truck? I had a very similar Peterbilt at my last job, and had no problems with the audio.

I never messed with the bluetooth. Only usb on the Pete but i did talk with another poly driver who got his to do, what you're wanting yours to do. He was showing me all his audiobooks he had stored on his phone. If you cant get it to work, the shop will replace the radio.

    Never got mine to work.
    But I'm not tech savvy.
    Too much of a headache.

Headphones and iTunes do just fine for me.

    Bluetoof???

Wouldn't an 8 track player be more appropriate for the company that still requires hand delivery of paperwork?

I wonder how many 8 tracks it would take to put an entire audiobook on... Haha.

Does Poly still require drivers to fill out the trip mileage forms when turning in paperwork or do the Qualcoms do it now and just have to give the in and out mileage when you are at the plant gates?
