Want home time? Clear out your truck!

I also drove for a company that said for hometime the truck needed to be at the terminal as they were short on trucks for part timers, i was told when i started you take the truck home, then this change came and for 2 days, so i stopped at my house cleaned the truck out and took it back,, when i got there,, i counted 15 empty trucks in the yard, yea they were real short on trucks for part timers,, NOT, this place had 10 drivers a week leaving them and 10 new ones coming in the front door to replace them.. not what i call a good company.

im home every friday by 1400 and off till monday 1000.

 

Knight was the most despicable company I have ever had the misfortune to work for as a driver.

They owe me for 17 days of actual layover and for 2 loads. You should read my posting. It will save you a lot of pain. Find a good company to work and quit Knight ASAP!!!

Since they cut the payscale yet again, they will continue to hire new drivers at lower pay, let them have more loads and wait for you to quit. If you don't quit, they will make it hard on you. They don't want to pay unemployment compensation. They will make you layover waiting for loads and NOT pay you!!!

 

I know it's an old topic but I have to side with Big Don in that they wanted you to quit. That's not right ! I hope you found a better company to work for that suits you better. I've been here for 3 years and they don't even make me clean my truck out when I go on vacation. I do anyways as someone might use it but they never have in the past.

 

I agree that the red side dose stupid things that the grey side just dosen't do.
