Granted, one less lowlife in the world and that sure doesn’t hurt my feelings, but after they dragged him out of the car they should’ve let the cops handle it from there rather than chasing him. That’s the reason for the charges.

Typically I’d be inclined to agree, and if that death was a direct result of defensive actions by the intended victim of said felony, then I would wholeheartedly agree.

The issue I see though with the Filthadelphia story is this. If you’re a concealed carry permit holder and you’re legally armed for example, you cannot pursue someone who ceased to become a threat by realization that their actions might become hazardous to their health and give them one in the back. That goes beyond self defense to murder and even the police won’t away with that. My reading of the Philly story tells me this is basically what they did.
