    If I recall they did have the rear axle moved forward a few inches but it was a glass front end from the factory. Didnt dodge have a small production run of altered chassis cars too? It was the Galaxie Light weight.

    You need to get her the proper crab leg eatin attire and tools. She needs a bib a hammer and a cracker, then beat the hell outta them legs. Those Eastern Shore guys on here see that you'll never hear the end of it, lol.

    Some gear heads from Dodge called themselves the Ramchargers. They took some production cars and moved the rear axle ahead to help with weight transfer and launch without adding weight. Then they went racing in the weekends.

    I considered that...but this thing has been cobbled together...a lot. I know it's expensive but in the end all of it will be new with no mysteries.

    I think Don Nicholson was the "first" to move the rear axle or "alter" the chassis and Don was a Ford guy.

    Factory original folks. I never seen one and this to me was the best one there.
