Not sure which one will work best for me
But received offers from all of them.

Anyone with first hand knowledge and experience with any these companies?

    Thanks

Yeah, local or road makes a BIG difference at ABF. I'd never consider a road job with them.

I drove over the road for them for 5 years. I don't think I have ever been that tired and spiritually broken in my entire life. I just felt like a black cloud.

Varies by company and barn, but when I ran linehaul I was home 95% of the time. But I get what you mean. You are constantly out working all night long and sleeping all day.

I had it especially bad in Montana during the winter. I worked 8 PM till sometimes 9-10 AM. I would not see the sun five days out of the week.

I was on call for 5 years, after being told I would have a bid after 2. You get exactly 48 hours off, which means you were on the day shift? Now you're on the night shift. And vice versa.

Didn't write that you wanted to be home after four trips? Maybe they'll keep you out all week. You never know.

Vacations are exactly 168 hours. You go on call at midnight the following Saturday night/Sunday morning.

There was no way to plan your life. No way to see your friends and family. I felt like life was passing me by. And it was.
