I ran 17,103 in the last 30 days.

Granted thats envelopes turned in, The miles average out better when you look at it from a distance.

Now I understand the "watching" the logs. I ain't even gonna go there.

    Just be careful.

I will add, that just happens to be almost double Conway truckload fleet average LMAO

Another 1400 miles, Conway could have replaced 2 drivers with you LOL

yup, true story, i didnt like being told to go otr, in fact, didnt even wanna leave the east coast, and then i had to go, or like dance said, go home, well, i chose to give it a try, and ended up lovin it,
the past 3 weeks i had load after loads waiting for me to get there, couldnt even get a break in other then the 10hr reset, which was nice, but only cause i dont say no, i enjoyed it, i wish i could have stayed out a few more weeks longer and racked up some more miles, iv finished off with about 9300 for the month, give or take, yeah its not 17k but still up there tho, i sure wouldnt mind runin a 17k month, maybe i should join the dark side...:biggrin_25512:...:biggrin_25525:

Sorry to get ya'll all ryled up but just speaking my mind.

"Frmer" MR. million man driver I applaud you for that but; deciding were to take a nap and whats the max u could put on a log book is and will never be harder than LTL in my mind change that "never". Try getting around a low brigde and the spot is on the next corner or turning down an alley and its the right place but the wharehouse is in different location imagine telling someone's customer to move it or lose it; or delivering inside a nieghborhood and come to an T intersection and the occupant makes up his mind that he's been parking in this spot for ever in front the T and aint changing it up today even tho he knows you want to turn; Imagine how fun it would be to tell these people move it or I'll park it on your porch for you and they change their mind that was the days. Logbook what logbook I'll do it tommorow, or moving 20 pcs of furniture to unload 2 pcs; because the stop I'm leaving is in D.C. and my next stop is Richmond,VA and the 2 pcs goes baltimore
before my next stops in Gaitherburg, and Cumberland,MD look at your atlas.

Now thats trucking for ya u know what, trying to do 600 miles a day is like eating candy at that piont sweet. so never make a mistake of calling me a whiner' ever till you get some gloves on and unload your whole trailer not just taking straps out an empty one. Next.

Sitting for 5 days you all know it could happen to any one of you at any giving time.
So, please don't say it would never happen to you we all agree thats part of trucking; so to say it was a lack of communication is like saying empty and available does not exist no mans land is just that see the florida bit. I think he was in Wyoming last I knew only thing you get out of ther is ash could be wrong.

To say W/S has no faults is like saying DOT will not give you and ticket for being 15k overwieght.
You could try to defend these people if you want; But I aint doing it.
Like danc said I was told OTR or the house they were not even willing to fire me cowards, I could of atleast got unemployment why I get back on my feet.
I am married don't stay with my mom and live in new jersey. with 2 days to decide.
Loyalty yeah I forgot that sometimes is like a one way mirror you live and you learn.
As the old saying goes there's more than 1 way to skin a cat, I'm not happy but I'm not foolish either it's hard times everywhere.

Can someone please answer these two Questions for me before you respond with nothing again; Is OTR called longhaul or west coast regional at W/S because its more like the later to me. Second can anyone of you Frmer, Dont feel like spelling it out. or wing ding,, soon 2 be and Danc I think you know the answer.

What major account do we have outside of the west coast that W/S has that would make OTR more drivable and profitable. For the record Church does not count thats like 10 loads a week, and if the broker don't come through with nestle your sitting here in sayreville no doubt. almost every hwy you roll along you will see a whse with multiple trailers from well know companys EVEN before this crisis hit that we are not on coming away from the west.

That basically means Col. to Maine I really don't here anyone crying about that. But I give you credit you complain about the bonus you will never reach. I see them saving money, Yet never creating money for the drivers you call that a business please.

Like I said before bring it or PM me Atleast respond better this time.
OHH please answer them there questions for the new drivers thats thinking about taking my truck PLEASE. :biggrin_2553:

I think that pretty much sums it up. :yes2557:

Sorry bout the "single" comment. I translated too much LOL

BTW, at least there was a car parked in the T where you turned, and not an off duty cop, who decided it was his day to stop a truck with his bare hands. While the whole neighborhood was shouting..."Run that ##### over!"

I believe ya. A couple months ago sitting on my WS prehire, the condition was OTR only, before they froze the hiring. I was gonna be happy with that, but here I am listening to the ol' lady jabber away...

nawlins, where you a short liner out of sayreville?
i did it for 9 months, and everything you said about navigating the roads wasnt even half of it.
since they did away with the shortline and are now making otr drivers runing the NE states, they all then end up asking for loads going west, as far away from the NE as they can get, but a few still really enjoy doing it,
im glad i dont do it anymore, they told me otr or home, well, sitting at home was out of the question for me,
i do bileave they made a big mistake by getting rid of all the short liners out of sayreville, Macon thinks our saftey rating is bad now, wait till he sees the spike in close prox. accidents now...
ill miss the days of shortline work, sitting in all the firday/holiday traffic running south on 95 out of ct ny and north from md, de, oh man, that crap sucked, or unloading the trl when its 110 outside and the inside is 200 it feels like, and yes, moving all those boxes to make the route better for ya....haha, im done

yes, you do longhaul 2 times, going from dalton to sfs, and then u do western reginol when u get there, then u do longhaul from sfs to conover then you do eastern reginol when you get out here
hope i gave the answer u were looking for??

    Naw'lins Born Thanks this.
