The new freighliners have no AC vent in the top bunk. I cant believe they left this out. All the heat from the day collects up top. My wife sleeps up there and unless I have the AC on full blast she roasts up and I freeze like a cold slab of lard in a meat locker in the bottom bunk Guess we will head to Walmart and buy some tubing and pipe it upstairs from the bottom bunk vent. This is a major design flaw in the new freighliners. Anyone else have this problem, any suggestions?

A small fan to help circulate the air maybe? If you have a window up there that opens it will allow the hot air to escape also.

I guess putting a vent up there didn't go with the new interior layout.

That is incredibly stupid on Freightliner’s part.

Yea we bought one of those cheap 40 dollar air cooler humidifiers. It worked for about a month then now just blows like a fan

If it's your truck make a duct that will send cold air to top. Home depot has all materials needed. You can run that duct inside of right side cabinet.

It's not the company that makes the truck. It is the company that buys the truck that is the problem.,

That's only halfway true. Sure the company dropped the ball but the OEM most definitely dropped the ball. Hard to believe they wouldn't know by now how much hot air collects in the top bunk of a modern double bunk sleeper.
