Deny the evidence all you want the facts are that the ocean temperature is rising, while it seems like a small amount it has a huge impact; coral bleaching in Australia, glaciers melting, extreme weather events are increasing in frequency and severity. That is because the ocean regulates global climate.
Humans created the ozone issues with use of cfc's, that was reduced and the ozone is better now.
Yes the co2 levels used to be higher, but the co2 was sequestered in organic matter that we now burn for fuel and allows the co2 back into the atmosphere, and the warming is occurring faster than most species can adapt to.

And as another said, what's wrong with wanting a cleaner environment and renewable energy? Follow the camping rule, leave the place cleaner than you found it.

 

It's a problem. If you go to the politics section you can see exactly why they want to keep it out of the general forum. It just cannot remain civil for more than half a page.

 

The temperature is changing where? It's changing all over. Some places are getting warmer and some places are getting colder. I'm all for leaving a place clean and not messing it up. But nothing we can do about the behavior of the Earth's core and the rotation of the poles to keep things the way they are no matter how many rules and taxes we pay to "fix" it.

I'm not trying to say we don't have an influence, it's just not what some people claim it is.

 

Extreme weather events are not increasing in severity and frequency in North America. That's just false and silly.
I live on the water 60 miles from Norfolk. 25 years ago we where preached too that we would be underwater. We all knew the tidewater area has been sinking. Not even a centimeter here. Same ole barnacles hanging around.
Some of us just don't buy into the money and power grab, and realize fossil fuels and civilization has done more for mankind than your wacky science ever has.
The 12,000 people we lost in 1900 in the Galveston Hurricane probably didn't even have the chance to blame global warming.

 

The earth's core has nothing to do with it.

On the colder, do you mean colder during winter or summer?

So why are the poles constantly moving? If it isn't from the Earth's core what is doing it?
