Going Independent In 2020 .Need Broker Info .

    I’m going independent in 2020 , getting my own authority and trailer . Had enough of the big company cess pool . So, I am considering using CH Robinson as one freight source , I am considering using up to 2 more , any recommendations? And , looking for quick pay if at all possible without waiting 30 days . Any and all info is greatly appreciated as always . Thank you !

    You will need more than 3 brokers.
    What you will need is a factoring company for quick pay.
    The best thing is not to need quick pay.
    This is what many indepents will tell you.

    You’ll need many many more brokers. Plan on doing quite a few signups with brokers for a while.

    If you already have the truck why wait until 2020?

    Once, one of them, CHR reps, told me this, after I yelled at him for why so cheap..."I don't know what you expect from us (CH Robinson) but what we do is that we specialize in back haul freight." OK. How could I not have known that? I felt embarrassed by my outrage.
