I thinks it’s sucks all the time

 

Yeah, I-40 and I-65 in Tennessee sucks today. Spent an extra hour getting past three separate wrecks, including one right in the middle of Crashville where a Metro Police car was smashed on both ends.

 

You guys all staying busy?
Keep hearing how slow things are, But I'm not seeing it. Been putting in the normal hours I'm used too.
Actually wouldn't mind a bit of a break. Some 8 hr days would be nice for a change

Our people say we are slower out of Houston.

4 compartment unload. Still here. Their drumming it all off, 8 hrs now and still going

 

I usually run pretty good, but I got a 34-hour reset during the week and could've had another if I'd really wanted it. I broke the second one into a 10- and a 24-hour break, with a two-hour drive in the middle. I am taking a four-day weekend. Dispatch said freight was slow, couple other drivers said the same for them. I was set to go home tomorrow but now I need to deliver a load that another driver had trouble with today, so I'll get another day of work, which is fine by me.

 

We do mostly board freight and not a lot of contracts. So, we are slow. Hopefully it's temporary.

 

That's totally normal.

 

Asphalt has been quite busy here. As long as the sun shines, there seems to be plenty of the hot black liquid to haul.
