I recently completed CDL school. The school I went to only uses automatic trucks and that’s what they use to test you for your license. I was under the impression that if you take your test in an automatic then you receive a restriction on your license indicating that you can only drive trucks that have automatic transmission. One of my fellow students that I kept in touch with informed me that they forgot to put the restriction on their license. I checked mine and sure enough there is no code anywhere on it stating that I can only drive automatic. What do I do? I’m not working yet so I don’t have to worry about that. But, do I go back to the DMV? Do I not say anything at all? Lol
Did they mess up on my license?

Don't say anything to the DMV.
For now, hire on with a company that uses automatics or gives you a choice of auto or stick shift.
Where is your location?Gambosa, FlaSwampRat, Gumboslef9384 and 2 others Thank this. -
