Hot...Hot..Hot. That's the word for today. Temp's near 100 add in humidity mid 100's. I would imagine farmers I haul for are getting ready to cut. Haven't talked to them in a while.

I like cooler weather but I live in the wrong state. It's either hot or cold seems like.

First load of harvest 91,000, dang think I could been a little lighter. Typical, farmers want to fill every nook and cranny in the trailer. Oh Well, need to get back to fields.

Don't come on here and tell us that, we'll think you're an outlaw!! LOL!

I know what you mean about farmers wanting to fill it up, the worst is when they've got a big, fast grain cart, and you're motioning them to pull up to the next pile or shut it off and they aren't paying attention or playing dumb. We used to have a 43' low side, air ride, kinda heavy, so you only put one pile of corn in the front, then pull to the back hopper. My dad got into an argument one time with a farmer's kid running the cart who wouldn't pull on to the back hopper when he told him to. "Son, I think I know a little better than you do how much corn I need in my trailer." He only had 87,000 on it!

All loads heavy today. Tonight saw the DOT boys were out and about so going to have to scale back. They stopped an outfit that is continually overweight. I am getting the hang of my air weigh but still having trouble getting farmers to stop. First time used air weigh at harvest.

Air weigh working well but grain going in so fast from combine hard to get just right.

One dang overweight ticket would about eat away a good majority of profits.

I not going to say what my record is but higher than yours Pharm. I was only going ten miles though.

I don't know about Pharm but it only pays me an extra $13 for 11,000 over. I'm only going around 5 miles though. Really isn't worth overweight ticket.

    At 45 cents a bushel, it's about $70 more.

hey does anyone know what "series 100" is? It's what I'm supposed to pick up next. Just wanting to make sure it isn't something really light.

That's a new one on me. Doesn't esclipse know what it is? Sounds interesting but I sure don't know what it is. Let us know what it is I'm curious.

I was wondering if you were sweating bullets being that much overweight and going that far. I gather must not have been able to take some off or too long a line to go back and unload some. Maybe just fearless?
